WATCH: Video of MS Dhoni smoking “Hookah” during social event goes viral
Undoubtedly, former India cricketer MS Dhoni has a large fan base and is one of the most adored cricketers in India. However, it is true that MS Dhoni uses social media very little, and fans have been particularly eager to learn about his personal life. However, the star cricketer was seen enjoying himself off-field.
In addition, MS Dhoni is best known for his calm, quiet, and kind nature; a video showing him smoking is becoming popular on social media these days. Meanwhile, his fans on social media, however, claim that the wicketkeeper-batter is smoking “Hookah” instead of cigarettes. The clip has been widely shared on social media, and the fans seem a little shocked by his act of smoking at one of his recent parties.
Meanwhile, after the internet sensation of the MS Dhoni Hookah video, a vintage remark from George Bailey has come to light. The former CSK teammate revealed that the CSK captain used to smoke a hookah sometimes, as well as how he might use it to start conversations with younger players in new outfits or at parties. Notably, the fans are eager to see him in the cricket action of IPL 2024.
MS Dhoni likes smoking a bit of the sheesha or the hookah: George Bailey
“He likes smoking a bit of the sheesha or the hookah. So, he quite often would set that up in his room, and it was very much an open-door policy. You would go in and quite often find a lot of younger players there. For India or a lot of other cricket teams, it can be hierarchical, but he certainly broke that down,” George Bailey was quoted as saying by India Today.
“The greatest thing that I took from him was his ability to remain calm to impact the calmness of the team. With the chaos and whatever might be happening on the game on numerous occasions, when you saw him being so calm behind the wickets or with the bat in hand, you firmly believe that he’s got a plan,” he added further.
