‘He comes back stronger, better, healthier..’ – AB de Villiers makes stunning U-turn on Virat Kohli expecting ‘2nd child’

Former South African cricketer AB de Villiers had recently disclosed that India’s star batter Virat Kohli and his wife and actress Anushka Sharma are expecting their second child, which questioned Kohli’s participation in the remaining Test series against England. Notably, the 35-year-old cricketer had withdrawn from the India squad for the first two Tests against England, citing personal reasons. However, it is uncertain whether Virat Kohli is going to play the rest of the series.

However, AB de Villiers has now come up with a stunning U-turn and said that he had spread the wrong information on social media, which wasn’t true at all. The 39-year-old cricketer feels that Virat Kohli is enjoying his time with his family, and he hopes the RCB batter will come out healthy with a fresh mind in the national squad.

“Absolutely family comes first, it’s a priority, as I said on my YouTube show. Also, I made a terrible mistake at the same time and yeah, sharing false information which was not true at all. No one knows what’s happening. That’s all I can do is wish him well and I think the whole world that follows Virat and that enjoys his cricket, must just wish him well, and whatever the reason is for this break. Really hope that he comes back stronger, better, healthier, and fresh,” AB de Villiers said on Dainik Bhaskar.

You can’t judge Virat Kohli for that: AB de Villiers

Meanwhile, just a day ago, the legendary cricketer revealed that his second child was on the way, and this is the family time that he is enjoying. The former right-handed batter also believes that Virat Kohli has made the right decision by skipping the Test series as he sets to welcome his second child after Vamika Kohli.

“Yes, his second child is on the way. Yes, it’s family time and things are important to him. If you are not true and genuine to yourself, you lose track of what you are here for. I think most people’s priority is family. You can’t judge Virat for that. Yes, we miss him, but he has made the right decision,” AB de Villiers said on his YouTube channel.
