Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty shares unseen pre-wedding pictures with star India cricketer KL Rahul

Star India batter KL Rahul wed Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty on January 23, Monday. The couple exchanged vows at Athiya’s father Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala in front of their loved ones. Since then, photos from their wedding ceremony have been making the rounds on social media.

Rahul and Athiya were married according to Kannada tradition as they are both from Karnataka. While a wedding ceremony involves a number of traditions, the couple only revealed images from their “Haldi” ceremony a few days after their wedding.

Athiya posted previously unreleased images from one of their pre-wedding rituals on her official Instagram account on Saturday, January 28. She added a flower emoticon to the post’s caption. She is also seen holding KL Rahul’s hands and candidly putting her head on his chest while posing for the camera in one of the beautifully taken images.

“In your light, I learn how to love. Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that’s given us immense joy and serenity. With a heart full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness,” the couple wrote on social media while sharing their pictures from the wedding last week.

The cricketer, who is presently off from representing his country, will return to play in February 2023 when India hosts Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy. On Friday, January 27, Rahul posted a video to his Instagram account showing him working out in the gym. India will play four Test matches against Australia after finishing up a three-match T20I series against New Zealand.

India needs to win the four-game Test series if they want to get to the World Test Championship finals. India and Australia are the two teams most likely to advance to the WTC finals, however because the teams are still in contention, India would benefit from defeating Australia to ensure their spot in the finals.
