ODI World Cup 2023: Weather update from Dharamshala ahead of India vs New Zealand clash
Team India is all set to lock horns against New Zealand on October 22 for their fifth clash of the ODI World Cup 2023 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Stadium in Dharamshala. Notably, New Zealand and India are the only two teams that have been unbeaten in the tournament so far and have placed themselves in the top two positions owing to their magnificent four out of four wins in the tournament.
Notably, one of the two teams will be getting their straight fifth win and will be on the verge of getting a place in the semi-final, while the other will be getting their first loss in the ODI World Cup 2023. Rohit Sharma and Co. defeated Australia in their opening clash on October 8 in Chennai, as well as Afghanistan in their second clash at Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in Delhi.
In addition, the Men in Blue also beat traditional rival Pakistan before upsetting Bangladesh in their recent clash at the ODI World Cup 2023. However, India’s ace all-rounder, Hardik Pandya, is not available owing to injuries he sustained in the Bangladesh clash. According to sources, Suryakumar Yadav and Mohammed Shami will get the nod in India’s starting lineup against the strong Kiwis.

Speaking about the weather here in Dharamshala, the MET department suggests that the game may get halted due to rain or thunderstorms. According to Accuweather, there are strong chances of precipitation in the game. In addition, there are chances of thunderstorms in the afternoon as well. If the rain plays spoilsport, then both teams have to share each point.
