Former cricketers and movie stars attend ODI World Cup final 2023

The match between India and Australia is attended by several big personalities. From the former cricketers to political leaders and movie stars, celebrities from different fields arrived for the ODI World Cup 2023 final. At the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad, the celebrities got all the attention in between the match between the two teams. Several of the stars appeared on the screen and were seen in different moods.

Bollywood stars and the wives of some of the cricketers were spotted in the stadium. The likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh were seen in the same stand. The wives of some cricketers like Athiya Shetty, Ritika Sajdeh, and Anushka Sharma were also spotted in the stadium. Along with them, some of the other celebrities like Asha Bhosle, Pritam Chakraborty, and Jonita Gandhi were also seen in the stands.

There were some political leaders as well in the stadium. Amit Shah, the Union home minister of India, was in the arena. The Indian Prime minister, Narendra Modi, was spotted in the stadium. Some of the former cricketers like Ravi Shastri, Aaron Finch, Eoin Morgan, Sunil Gavaskar, Matthew Hayden, and others were in the stadium in the commentary box.

Australia is off to a flying start in the ODI World Cup 2023 final

India set a target of 241 runs for Australia. Chasing it, the visiting side was off to a flier. The Australian top 3 batters took the team to a good start. They were helped by the Indian bowlers who could not control their swing. In the first 4 overs of the match, Australia raced away to 41/1. Though Australia lost the wicket of David Warner, the duo of Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh continued the attack on the Indian bowlers.

Indian bowlers could not control their swing in the first few overs of the match. It allowed Australia to settle down in the match. They got a brilliant start to their innings, which allowed them to be tentative in the later overs, where the pitch might play its tricks. Given the slow nature of the wicket, Australia would be looking to attack.
