The Indian T20 League (ITL) 2023 is around the corner as it is set to kick off on March 31 after the completion of the Women’s T20 League. The opening match of the cash-rich league will be played between the Chennai franchise and the defending champions Gujarat at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium.

Former India speedster S. Sreesanth is one of the players whose career was ruined because of match-fixing. The 40-year-old was banned from playing international cricket for 10 years as he was found guilty while playing for the Rajasthan franchise. But after 10 years, he is all set to make his comeback in the cash-rich league after a long gap of 10 years but this time not as a player but as a commentator.

On Tuesday, March 21, the television broadcaster of the 16th edition of the Indian T20 League, Star Sports announced a star-studded panel of commentators that features a lot of great players from around the world. The cricket fanatics will get a chance to listen two 20-20 World Cup winners Aaron Finch and Paul Collingwood.

Former Indian T20 League coaches and players to apperar in the commentary pannel

Both of them would be joined by one of England’s legend, Kevin Peterson, who has also played Indian T20 League previously. He has a great knowledge of the sport and that made him a fan of most of the cricket lovers. The Kolkata franchise legend Jacques Kallis will also makis his commentary debut in the upcoming ITL edition.

The pannel will be joined by former Australian batters David Hussey, and Matthew Hayden. Imran Tahir will share his views on spin-bowling, which is anticipated to be essential at some venues as the Indian T20 League travels 12 venues for the first time ever.

Tom Moody, Daniel Vettori, and Simon Katich, three former ITL coaches, will provide their perspective on the game by examining strategies and plays. Sunil Gavaskar and Virender Sehwag, two legendary Indian openers with different batting and commentary philosophies, will also be on the panel.
