The Apex Cricket Council and the Indian Cricket Board organised an extraordinary 3D presentation at the iconic Gateway of India in Mumbai to celebrate Diwali and the beautiful journey of the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023. Notably, Gateway of India is just near Mumbai’s iconic Wankhede Stadium, which is all set to host the first semi-final clash between hosts India and New Zealand.

Notably, some of the best and greatest events from the ongoing ODI World Cup were portrayed on the monument in a two-minute projection featuring video and audio. Furthermore, emphasised in the projection was the 2023 ODI World Cup tagline, “It Takes One Day.” The clip has been widely shared on social media with some wonderful comments.

Sir Viv Richards, the West Indies legend and ODI World Cup 2023 Ambassador was elated to see the celebrations. “Ahead of the ODI World Cup semi-final in Mumbai, it is fantastic to see the iconic Gateway of India celebrating epic World Cup moments alongside the stunning Navarasa symbols. There has been enthralling cricket on show for all fans to experience a range of emotions and I can’t wait to see what the remaining games have in store for everyone,” Viv Richards was quoted as saying by Apex Cricket Council.

Team India is expected to finish with nine out of nine wins in the ODI World Cup 2023

Meanwhile, Team India is all set to lock horns against the Netherlands for their last and final game of the ODI World Cup 2023, slated to take place on November 12 at M. Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium in Bangalore. Rohit Sharma and Co. are currently unbeaten in the tournament and are expected to finish with nine out of nine wins in the event.

Speaking about their campaign, they thrashed Australia in their opening game, despite their poor star. Following them, they easily beat Afghanistan before thrashing arch-rivals Pakistan. In addition, they beat Bangladesh and recorded a close victory over New Zealand. Moreover, the hosts also beat England despite the low target on the board. They later humiliated Sri Lanka before defeating South Africa in their last clash.
