‘He is one of my favorite bowlers’ – Former India cricketer heaps praise on Prasidh Krishna after his impressive exploits during 2nd T20I against Ireland

Jasprit Bumrah and Co. had a terrific win as the Men in Blue defeated Ireland by 33 runs and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series. Notably, India star pacer Prasidh Krishna had scalped Ireland skipper Paul Stirling and wicketkeeper batsman Tucker on ducks, which allowed Team India to seal the series on August 20 in Dublin. In addition, following his great bowling spells, the 27-year-old cricketer is receiving praise from cricket fans and pundits. Notably, former India cricketer turned analyst Aakash Chopra is one of them.

In addition, the renowned cricket-commentator has called the right-arm pacer one of his favourite bowlers. Moreover, the former India opener feels that the 27-year-old cricketer will become famous owing to his exceptional fast bowling skills, great high-arm action, and great ability to bounce. Furthermore, the 45-year-old analyst feels that the great seamer has the timing right to mark his comeback after injury.

Prasidh Krishna has come back at a very good time: Aakash Chopra

“There is no doubt that this Krishna will become Prasidh. He is one of my favorite bowlers. When I saw him for the first time, I said that he will become famous because he has got all the basic ingredients of fast bowling. He has a high-arm action, gets good bounce and the pace is also around 140 kph. He has come back at a very good time. He picked up two wickets, both with short balls, first Paul Stirling and then Lorcan Tucker,” Aakash Chopra said on his YouTube channel, Cricket Ki Chaupal.

Meanwhile, the former top-order batter also heaps praise on LSG bowler Ravi Bishnoi. Notably, the right-handed batter lauded the leg spinner for scalping two wickets back-to-back. “Then Bishnoi comes and it is almost confirmed that Bishnoi will pick up two wickets against this team. He took two in the last match as well and he scalped two wickets in this match too,” he added further in the same video.
