IND vs AUS: Ravindra Jadeja follows his ‘friend’ from Australia for 24 hours

On Sunday, star India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja asserted that he has started following Australia’s veteran off-spinner Nathan Lyon on Instagram, and will unfollow him in the 24 next hours. “Following my friend Nathan Lyon for 24 hours,” said the Chennai franchise all-rounder along with laughing emojis.

With the caption, the 34-year-old  shared the screenshot of his Instagram profile. Jadeja has over five million followers on Instagram, but Lyon is the only person who Jadeja follows. However, the 35-year-old also took a screenshot of the Indian spinner’s story and posted it on his own Instagram story.

Ravindra Jadeja bagged best figures in Tests

Currently, both the spinners, Jadeja andLyon are featuring in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy for their respective teams. If we talk about the series, then India are 2-0 up against Australia in the four-match Test series. They won the first Test at Nagpur by an inning and 132 runs and won the second Test by six wickets. Both the matches ended under three days.

The Kangaroo side are not able to surpass India’s spinning duo of Jadeja and veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. In the first match Ashwin was the star with the ball and in the second it was Jadeja who bagged his best figures  in the Test career so far which was 7/42. The both spinner were awarded the Man of the Match award for their respective performances in the first and second Test of ongoing BGT series.

On Sunday, February 19, the Indian Cricket Board announced squad for the third and fourth Test and the ODI series against Australia which will take place just after the Test series.
