‘Worst Morning for fans’ – Fans heartbroken as India’s worst nightmare comes true after Hardik Pandya gets ruled out; replacement announced

Team India is all set to lock horns against South Africa for their eighth clash of the ODI World Cup 2023, slated to take place on November 5 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Notably, this match will determine whether Team India will play in the first or second semifinal. If Team India wins the game, then they will play the first semi-final; if they lose, then they will likely play the second semi-final.

However, India’s star cricketer Hardik Pandya has been ruled out from the rest of the ODI World Cup 2023 as he suffered ankle injuries during the ODI World Cup 2023 game against Bangladesh. The 30-year-old has always been an imperative player for India and has led his side to some tremendous wins.

The Apex Cricket Council has informed the news that Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya has been out as he failed to recover from his ankle injuries. Moreover, the report further reveals that India’s great pacer Prasidh Krishna has been added to the squad as his replacement for the remainder of the ODI World Cup 2023 games.

Hardik Pandya has failed to recover in time to part of the rest of the campaign: Reports

Talking about the host campaign, Team India is the only team that is undetected in the tournament. Rohit Sharma and Co. defeated Australia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand, England, and Sri Lanka, while they are set to play against South Africa and the Netherlands before playing in the semi-finals of the marquee event.

“Pandya hurt his left ankle while bowling during India’s World Cup match against Bangladesh in Pune last month and it has now been confirmed that the 30-year-old has failed to recover in time to part of the rest of the campaign. With the Event Technical Committee approving India’s replacement player on Saturday, it means Krishna is available for selection for Sunday’s crucial World Cup clash against fellow tournament pace-setter South Africa,” read an Apex Cricket Council release on the development.
