Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bowl first. India made two changes on their side. They brought in Shubman Gill and Umesh Yadav in place of KL Rahul and Mohammad Shami, respectively.

On Day two of the first session, India made a comeback, and within two hours, India bundled out the Kangaroos under 200. The star performer with the ball was right-arm seamer Umesh Yadav, whose reverse swing troubled Australia’s middle and lower order.
