Indian Cricket Board on Thursday announce India’s squads for upcoming tour of South Africa

The Indian Cricket Board has announced Team India’s squads for the upcoming tour of South Africa. Notably, the side is set to play the three matches of the T20I and ODI series with two Test matches, which are all set to commence on December 1. However, the squad has seen some surprising exclusions and inclusions. According to reports, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have opted out of the white-ball series, and new faces are set to lead the side.

Moreover, Sanju Samson and Yuzvendra Chahal got the nod in the ODIs. However, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane, who were part of the WTC final, didn’t find a spot in the Test squad. Meanwhile, Mukesh Kumar, Shreyas Iyer, and Ruturaj Gaikwad secured their place in all three formats, for being in their best form in recent times.
