Irfan Pathan pens down heartfelt note to his wife on 8th marriage anniversary

Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan recently shared a heartwarming note for his wife, as the couple recently celebrated their eighth marriage anniversary on Saturday. Notably, Irfan Pathan has been the subject of criticism for the past few years, as he always hides his wife’s face while posting pictures on social media.

However, the well-renowned cricket commentator has taken a picture with his wife for the first time with a wonderful comment in the post. The 39-year-old cricketer wrote about how his wife played a key role in his beautiful career and how she had helped him and been by his side in every moment of life.

“Infinite roles mastered by one soul – mood booster, comedian, troublemaker, and the constant companion, friend, and mother of my children. In this beautiful journey, I cherish you as my wife. Happy 8th my love,” wrote Pathan while sharing a picture of his wife on social media. As per multiple media reports, this is the first time that the face of Pathan’s wife was seen.

A senior player like Virat Kohli’s absence is a massive factor: Irfan Pathan

Meanwhile, Irfan Pathan has recently opened up about India vs. England’s second Test and how India is in a difficult situation owing to Virat Kohli’s and KL Rahul’s absences in the Test match. The great all-rounder has also backed Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer, as both are out of form and India needs them the most in the ongoing Test series.

“A senior player like Virat Kohli’s absence is a massive factor. Over that KL Rahul is also injured. So the team management has plenty to think about. They need to think about whether to give a chance to a new player straight away or wait a bit. There is no doubt that these two boys (Gill and Iyer) haven’t performed for quite some time now but it is not that they have never performed,” Irfan Pathan said on the sidelines of the launch of Asian Legends League as quoted by PTI.
