‘Chalo kuch toh acha sunne ko mila’ – Fans react as star duo likely to return in 3rd Test match vs England

According to sources, India’s star cricketers KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja are set to make their return in the third Test match against England, which is slated to take place on February 15 in Rajkot. Notably, both star cricketers were part of the first Test game; however, they missed the second Test game in Vizag.

Notably, the two cricketers who suffered injuries and missed the second Test, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja, will likely continue to be included in the squad for the next two Tests. Ravindra Jadeja injured his hamstring while trying to score in the first game of the series, whereas KL Rahul was out due to a knee injury.

However, sources revealed that both of them are in Bengaluru at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). The selectors are hopeful about KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja’s return, even though the NCA doctors have not yet given their final review. The two players are apparently recovering well.

Team India aims to win the third Test match to take the lead in Rajkot

Meanwhile, it has been reported that pacer Mohammed Siraj, who had been dropped from the team for the second Test, will return to the team to share the workload with great pacer Jasprit Bumrah. Although the Indian team management is reluctant to use four spinners, Mohammed Siraj is almost certain to replace Mukesh Kumar, who fought with his line and length in the previous Test.

Jasprit Bumrah, who just emerged as the top-ranked Test bowler, might be rested for the third Test, which is scheduled to be played in Rajkot. However, there’s a good chance Jasprit Bumrah might be rested for the fourth Test in Ranchi if India wins the third.

Meanwhile, India’s batting master Virat Kohli is set to miss the third and fourth Test matches owing to personal reasons. However, the Indian Cricket Board revealed that the 35-year-old cricketer will decide when he wants to play for the side, and he will let the management know about the same.

Virat  Kohli will decide when he wants to make a comeback to the Indian side. He hasn’t informed us till now but whenever he decides to play, he will be included in the team,” an Indian Cricket Board official said.
