‘Moin Khan to itna budha ho gaya hai yaar……..’ – Sourav Ganguly’s friendly advice to former Pakistan batter

Team India grabbed the spot in the semi-final after their back-to-back wins in the ODI World Cup 2023, as they remained unbeaten with eight out of eight wins in the marquee event so far and are looking forward to getting their straight ninth win in the ongoing match. On the other hand, the Pakistan team suffered a great loss in their do-or-die encounter and got knocked out of the tournament. However, former India cricketer Sourav Ganguly was recently spotted having a conversation with Pakistan-renowned TV Channel A spots after Pakistan’s loss to the defending champions.

The former Indian Cricket Board President was seen having a funny conversation about former Pakistan cricketer Moin Khan. Notably, the former India skipper affirms that Moin Khan looks so old these days. However, the legendary cricketer advises him to get the colours on his hair to look young and fit like him.

“Moin Khan to itna budha ho gaya hai yaar, thoda sa colour karlo Moin, hamare jaisa, thoda sa acha lagega (Moin Khan has got a lot older, his hair has turned grey. Dye your hair like me, it will look better),” Sourav Ganguly said on A Sports.

First of all, my warm greetings to all the Pakistan fans: Sourav Ganguly

Moreover, Sourav Ganguly was ecstatic to be on the Pakistan TV channel at the time. The former batting legend has recalled his memories of when India travelled to Pakistan for their ODI series and Test series. Notably, Sourav Ganguly guided Team India to the win in both series when they travelled back in 2004. Moreover, the Kolkata-born cricketer has also talked about the Pakistani players who were part of the team in 2004.

“First of all, my warm greetings to all the Pakistan fans. It always feels great whenever there is contact with Pakistan, whether with the media or during my playing days. I still remember that 2004 tour, what a tour it was. We had gone for three Tests and five ODIs. I still reminisce about those memories. There’s Wasim (Akram), Misbah (ul-Haq), Shoaib (Malik) and Moin Khan,” he added further.
