The Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team enjoyed their stay in Hyderabad with an evening dinner at an extravagant hotel on September 30. Notably, the Men in Green have a three-day break before they play their second ODI World Cup 2023 warm-up match against Australia on October 3 at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.

Pakistan team didn’t stay around the hotel for an extended period as they were spotted having a fantastic time at Jewel of Nizam—The Minar while snapping selfies with the guests of the hotel and fans outside the hotel. Notably, the video has been shared on the official account of the Pakistan Cricket Board with some flourishing remarks and comments.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad city embraced the Pakistani squad with warmth when they arrived last week for the ODI World Cup 2023. Notably, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam, left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi, and wicketkeeper-batter Mohammed Rizwan, among others, showed thankfulness on social media for the warm greeting they received in India on their social media platforms.

Pakistan lost against New Zealand in first warm-up match of the ODI World Cup 2023

Speaking about their first warm-up match, the Men in Green lost their game against New Zealand on September 29. Notably, after being opted to bat first, Babar Azam and Co. posted a massive total of 345/5 in the given 50 overs. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam hammered 80 runs, while wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan smashed a brilliant century.

Lower-order batter Saud Shakeel scored 75 runs to post a solid total against the Black Caps. However, the Kiwis held their nerves, which helped them chase down the target with 38 balls to spare. Notably, great players like Rachin Ravindra, Daryll Mitchell, and Kane Williamson piled up half-centuries to easily chase the total.
