Moments after India’s star pacer Mohammed Shami disclosed that he had successfully undergone surgery to treat his ongoing injury, Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India, extended his best wishes for his speedy recovery. Notably, PM Modi expressed optimism about Mohammed Shami’s ability to bounce back from this injury as quickly as possible, taking to X.
“Wishing you a speedy recovery and good health, @MdShami11! I’m confident you’ll overcome this injury with the courage that is so integral to you,” PM Narendra Modi wrote on X platform.
Following surgery on his right Achilles tendon in London on Monday, Mohammed Shami expressed his desire to “get back on his feet soon.”
“Just had a successful heel operation on my Achilles tendon! Recovery is going to take some time, but looking forward to getting back on my feet. #AchillesRecovery #HeelSurgery #RoadToRecovery,” Mohammed Shami had tweeted.

Mohammed Shami is set to miss the IPL 2024 and T20 World Cup 2024
