Punjab Kings set to play their home games at new venue in IPL 2024

According to reports, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) are all set to play the games of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the new venue. Notably, the Kings have played their games at PCA Stadium in Mohali since IPL 2008. However, sometimes they have played their games at the HPCA stadium in Dharamshala as well as the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore.

Meanwhile, the Punjab Kings will be playing all of their home matches at Mullanpur Stadium in Mohali from IPL 2024 on. Notably, the new venue of the stadium is set to enhance the value of the game and will provide better facilities to players as well as fans of the franchise.

The statement says that the new venue has more capacity for the fans and better facilities for the game during the night. In addition, the new venue is equipped with a great drainage system, which will help them with rain-related concerns during the game. Moreover, the new stadium in Mohali has around 33,000 seats.

Meanwhile, the franchise will be looking to get its first title win in the upcoming edition. Notably, PBKS has been able to reach the finals only once since 2008. However, the side had finished in the eighth spot in IPL 2023 with six wins out of the 14 games they have played.
