Rishabh Pant to be transferred to Mumbai or Delhi for further treatment – Reports

While traveling to Roorkee on Friday morning (December 30), Rishabh Pant was involved in a terrifying accident on National Highway 58. After the car accident, he was taken to the hospital, and the Indian Cricket Board later issued a statement outlining the injuries the wicketkeeper-batter had suffered. Although he is no longer in danger, he has wounds to his head, knee, and back.

His brain and spine have apparently undergone clear scans. The Indian Cricket  has advised against starting treatment for his knee ligament injury right away at Dehradun’s Max Hospital. According to rumours, he will be transported to either Delhi or Mumbai, where the next stage of his care will be chosen.

Rishabh Pant out of danger

According to a Cricbuzz report, Devendra Sharma, Pant’s coach, reportedly told the cricketer’s family that even if his condition is stable, he needs long-term care. According to the story, Pant’s friend warned him not to drive alone before he left Dehradun, but the batsman was certain that he could handle the entire journey.

After the collision, he was transported to Roorkee’s Saksham hospital before being transferred to Dehradun’s Max Hospital. Following the occurrence, the CCTV footage of the accident went viral, and the collision appeared to be brutal. After much anticipation, the Indian Cricket Board ultimately disclosed the details of the incident and issued a statement that perused:

“Rishabh has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back. Rishabh’s condition remains stable, and he has now been shifted to Max Hospital, Dehradun, where he will undergo MRI scans to ascertain the extent of his injuries and formulate his further course of treatment.”

The 25-year-old last competed in Bangladesh‘s recently finished Test series. When rumours of the cricketer being dropped surfaced, the Indian Cricket Board confirmed that he had been ordered to report to the National Cricket Academy.

He was not included in the T20I or ODI teams for the upcoming Sri Lanka series. The batsman will likely need months to get back in shape and be ready to play, and the entire country will be praying for him to recover quickly and in a timely manner.
