‘His attitude, his approach towards the game…….’ – Sachin Tendulkar lauds India star player’s attitude and approach towards game

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has recently shared his views on India’s star cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin. Notably, Sachin Tendulkar played in the 2011 ODI World Cup with great cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. The great off-spinner has marked his place in the ODI World Cup 2023 squad owing to his great series against Australia ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023. In addition, the RR bowler gets an opportunity to play their opening game of the marquee event on October 8. Notably, the Chennai-born cricketer didn’t disappoint and had scalped one wicket in the play.

Former India skipper Sachin Tendulkar feels that Ashwin is an excellent player and has a never-give-up attitude. In addition, the 50-year-old cricketer, who was recently appointed as the Brand Ambassador of the ODI World Cup 2023, lauded the game approach and attitude of India’s star all-rounder. The legendary cricketer shares that he always likes his bowling and batting skills. The Mumbai Indians coach feels that Ashwin can’t be out of the game.

“Ashwin is an experienced campaigner and someone who will fight till the last delivery. I know it. He would never be out of the game. His attitude, his approach towards a game is magnificent. I have always liked Ashwin as a bowler and a handy batsman (smiles),” Sachin Tendulkar said on his YouTube channel.

And that’s the Man of the Tournament, Mr. Yuvraj Singh: Sachin Tendulkar

Moreover, the former India opener also reveals the name he wishes to add to the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 squad from the 2011 ODI World Cup-winning squad. The Mumbai-born great has named former star all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, whom he wants to add to the squad, as the Southpaw had a magnificent marquee event back in 2011, which helped the MS Dhoni-led side grab the title on home soil. However, the Bharat Ratna awardee clarified that all players are good as well.

“All XI were good players, but the criteria has to be someone who has done well throughout the tournament. And that’s the Man of the Tournament, Mr. Yuvraj Singh (smiles),” he added further.
