Team India had only four bowlers and we had a responsibility: Mohammed Siraj
Meanwhile, India’s star cricketer, Mohammed Siraj, has talked about how they dismantled England’s batting lineup in the first inning. The 29-year-old cricketer revealed his pragmatic and tactical approach against England. Notably, the right-arm pacer took four wickets in the first inning against the visiting sides.
“We had only four bowlers and we had a responsibility. Knew they would attack so we spoke about sticking together knowing that they would make a mistake. We didn’t plan anything much, we were waiting for them to make a mistake. I knew the Yorker would be a good wicket-taking option. The important role for a bowler is to bowl six dot balls, we know they’re not used to playing out six dots in a row,” Mohammed Siraj said at the end of Day 3.

The thing with Bazball also is the impact it has on how drastically the opposition bowling attacks get judged. From being described as clueless last evening when Bazball came off to being lauded as brilliant today when Bazball didn’t come off. Same during the #Ashes #IndvEng
