This was Cheteshwar Pujara’s first double century in Test cricket, and he scored it in his sixth Test match. Notably, the star cricketer batted for 389 balls and hit 21 fours, dominating the English bowlers and setting up a huge first-innings total of 521/8 for India.
Meanwhile, India won the match by nine wickets and Cheteshwar Pujara was named the player of the match.
