‘Uske baad Pakistan ke abbu King Kohli aainge’ – Fans react as Pakistani Journalist wants Shaheen Afridi to dismiss Rohit and Gill on ducks in upcoming ODI World Cup

Pakistan star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has turned up for The Hundred Men’s Competition. Notably, his side, the Welsh Fire, won by nine runs against the Manchester Originals owing to the great left-arm bowler’s performance during the second match of the competition.

Meanwhile, the stylish bowler Afridi is considered one of the top bowlers and the most lethal pacers in the world. Speaking on the same subject, Pakistan’s renowned journalist Farid Khan uploaded the Pakistan bowler’s performance video on Twitter and highlighted that he wanted Afridi to dismiss Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill in exactly the same way he did for his side, the Welsh Fire, in the upcoming ODI World Cup.

“I want Shaheen Afridi to replicate this against India in the Asia Cup and World Cup. Need this against Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma,” Khan said.

Earlier, Manchester Originals skipper Jos Buttler won the toss and invited Welsh Fire to bat first. After being put to bat first, Tom Abell’s side posted a target of 94/3 in 40 balls as the match was reduced after the rain played spoilsport at Cardiff. Notably, the star batter, Luke Wells, smashed a magnificent half-century as the opening batter hammered 57 runs from just 23 balls, featuring seven boundaries and three sixes. Following him, Glenn Phillips also hammered 19 runs. Later, towards the end, David Willey and Stephen Eskinazi stayed till the end with three runs each.

Later, while chasing, Jos Buttler’s side could only manage to post 85 runs from 40 balls and lost the match by just 9 runs. Notably, Manchester skipper Buttler remained unbeaten as the star batter hammered 37 runs from just 18 balls while featuring two boundaries and three sixes. Moreover, apart from him, the great middle-order batter Max Holden also scored 37 runs from 18 balls, while hammering seven boundaries. Furthermore, Paul Walter struck six runs from two balls towards the end but couldn’t save the match while handing a good start to Welsh Fire.

Notably, the great Pakistani seamer Shaheen Shah Afridi dismantled the Jos Buttler-led Manchester side as the 23-year-old bowler dismissed their openers Phil Salt and Laurie Evans on ducks, which allowed his side to defend the target easily and give a stellar start to Welsh Fire in their first match.
