WATCH: Donovan Ferreira’s 104-meter six caught casually with one hand by old man in the stands

In the second match of the SA20 league, Joburg Super Kings (JSK) locked horns with Durban Super Giants in Durban on January 11, Wednesday. JSK batted first and scored 190 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the first innings, thanks to a splendid knock of 82 runs off 40 balls by Donovan Ferreira. The Super Giants in reply, only gathered 174 runs in 20 overs.

Ferreira was awarded the Player of the Match for his brilliant all-round performance. He scored 82 runs off 40 balls with 5 sixes and 8 fours. And undoubtedly, he will already go down as a hot property in the league and a force to reckon with. Ferreira, during his innings, hit a ball that travelled about 104 meters. However, the ball then came to a rest in midair. An old man stopped the ball as he took the catch from his left hand, and that was a sight to behold, especially due to the nonchalance of the catcher after pulling off a stunner.

The camera’s focus continuously shifted to the spectator after the catch, as is seen in the video. He may be seen drinking extremely comfortably after capturing the ball. Additionally, he extended his hand to the camera and smiled as people wished him well. The old man stopped the ball while playing with his left hand. He scored unbeaten 70 runs from 41 balls with four boundaries and five sixes at a strike rate of 170.73.
