Notably, the wicketkeeper batter was last seen in action during IPL 2023, when his side, the Chennai Super Kings, defeated Gujarat Titans during the final match to lift the trophy. In addition, the middle-order batter claimed the fifth title of the IPL as captain. As his side won the IPL 2023, the former India skipper confirmed that he might play one more edition.
