Watch: Harbhajan Singh and S Sreesanth involve in heated exchange once again after 15 years, Rishabh Pant shares video

In 2008, S. Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh became the center of attention after a major controversy erupted over the Turbanator’s slap to Sreesanth during a match. The two have repeatedly avoided discussing the issue, even though the exact reason for their nasty conflict has not been made public.

The two ex-Indian cricketers became a social media trend once more after it was revealed that they will be on the commentary team for the current IPL season. However, the supporters expressed their worries about another incident of this kind happening between the two.

In the most recent incident, star India batter Rishabh Pant posted a video of Harbhajan and Sreesanth fighting once more after a 15-year break on his Twitter account. The fans shouldn’t panic, though, since all of this was intended to promote the meal delivery service Zomato. Notably, the business has launched a new marketing effort to improve the perception of its name. Pant uploaded the video for marketing while still serving as a brand ambassador for Zomato.

He has to step back a bit: S. Sreesanth

On several ocassions, Sreesanth has supported Harbhajan’s actions and even referred to him as a friend. The same video was shared by Zomato as well, where they made reference to the 2008 slap gate incident. “From 2008 to 2023, some things never change,” Zomato captioned the post.

Former India speedster S. Sreesanth is one of the players whose career was ruined because of match-fixing. The 40-year-old was banned from playing international cricket for 10 years as he was found guilty while playing for the Rajasthan franchise. But after 10 years, he is all set to make his comeback in the cash-rich league after a long gap of 10 years but this time not as a player but as a commentator.

Recently, the 40-year-old spoke in-depth about Sanju Samson and revealed that they had discussed areas where the wicketkeeper-batter might improve. “Sanju (is) a very attacking captain and sometimes when the occasion comes, he has to step back a bit. That’s something I’ve been telling him,” the former pacer was quoted as saying on Star Sports.

“That’s one, maybe he might have to balance between attacking and defending. Even when it comes to captaincy, he’s still learning. But that will be one very important point when it comes to strengths and weaknesses. Sanju has to balance his thoughts and decision-making,”  the former Rajasthan Royals seamer added.
