WATCH: Mohammed Shami’s ex-wife Hasin Jahan makes bizarre remark as she refuses to give her ‘best wishes’ to right-arm pacer for ODI World Cup 2023
India’s great cricketer Mohammed Shami has been proving himself to be one of the great cricket legends in the ODI World Cup 2023. Notably, the right-arm pacer becomes the fourth-highest wicket-taker of the ongoing match, as he has 16 wickets to his name despite not playing the first four games for the Men in Blue.
The great cricketer had a 5-wicket haul against New Zealand and Sri Lanka while picking up 4 and 2 wickets against England and South Africa, respectively, which helped India place themselves in the top spot in the league stage.
However, Mohammed Shami’s wife, Hasin Jahan, made some bizarre statements about him in her recent interview with News Nation. Notably, she was asked about Shami’s performance in the ODI World Cup 2023, to which she replied that she hadn’t watched the games as she does not have an interest in cricket sport.
However, later, she said that it would be good for her and her daughter if Shami delivered good performances to secure their future. Moreover, she gives her best wishes to Team India but denies giving them to the right-arm pacer.

“Kuch bhi hai, accha perform kr rha hai, accha khelega, team main bana rahega, achha kamayega toh humara bhavishya secure rahega. (Whatever it is, if he [Shami] is performing well, will stay in the Indian team and earn well, it will secure our future). I will give my best wishes to Team India but not him,” Hasin Jahan said during an interview for News Nation.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Shami and his wife, Hasin Jahan, have been making headlines for so long over their disputes with each other. Just a couple of months ago, she made some shocking revelations about her husband and took the case to the Supreme Court after being dismissed from the High Court.
“Mr Shami used to demand dowry from her and that he has been continuously involved in illicit extra-marital sexual affairs with prostitutes, especially during his cricket tours, in the hotel rooms provided by the Indian Cricket Board, even till the present day,” the petition said.
