WATCH: Shikhar Dhawan pulls Dhanashree Verma’s leg as Yuzvendra Chahal becomes her ‘coolie’

India is currently in New Zealand for the three-match ODI series. India lost the first ODI to the Blackcaps by seven wickets and the second ODI was abandoned due to heavy rain. Earlier India won the three-match T20I series against the latter 1-0. 

The better halves of Indian cricketers travelled with them in the 20-20 World Cup to Australia in order to support them. Dhanashree Verma is one of those who travelled with them and India stand-in skipper Shikhar Dhawan pulled the leg of his teammate 

Dhawan, who is known for his reels on social media than his cricket, uploaded a video of Yuzvendra Chahal becoming a ‘Coolie’ as he was carrying extra luggage on the other hand his wife Dhanashree was seen carrying only one bag.

Will India level the series against New Zealand?

The Indian batter pulled the leg spinner’s leg and later was seen poking his wife as well. “Yeh dikhiye Yuzi ka hua bada khulasa,” wrote the Punjab skipper in the caption of his post.

Dhawan has always been brilliant with his reels on social media. Meanwhile, Dhanashree has recently recovered from her leg injury which she got while shooting a reel. She was not present at the Asia Cup as she was going through surgery, or else we have seen her in the United Arab Emirates supporting his husband and the Indian team from the stadium.

The players have arrived in Christchurch as the Men in Blue will try to win the last match of the tour so that they can level the three-match ODI series against the New Zealand side 1-1.
