Speaking about the India campaign, the Men in Blue thrashed five-time world champions Australia in their opening game on October 8. Following that, they beat Afghanistan before upsetting arch-rivals Pakistan on October 14 at the iconic Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. Notably, they recorded a great win against Bangladesh and New Zealand, which makes their side truly commendable in the big tournament.

Meanwhile, Team India and England last met in Australia during the semi-final of the 2022 T20 World Cup. However, Jos Buttler and Co. completely dominated against the Men in Blue and registered a 10-wicket win that thrashed India out of the tournament. Rohit Sharma and Co. will be looking to thrash them in their upcoming clash set to take place in Lucknow on Sunday.
