Check out weather reports of India vs. Netherlands ODI World Cup 2023 warm-up clash

Team India is all set to lock horns against the Netherlands in the ODI World Cup 2023 second warm-up game on October 3 in Greenfield International Cricket Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram, and the Men in Blue will be hoping to get a full match ahead of the big tournament. Notably, their first match against England on September 30 was washed out in Guwahati as the rain halted the play following the toss.

Rohit Sharma and Co. are in red-hot form, as they recently won the Asia Cup 2023 after defeating Sri Lanka in the finals. Notably, the Men in Blue have recorded a series win over Australia following their win in the Asia Cup 2023, which places them at the top spot in the ODI rankings. Meanwhile, Team India will be facing Pat Cummins and Co. on October 8 in Chennai to commence their journey.

However, ahead of the marquee event, the home team is looking to play their warm-up fixture against the Dutch team after rain played spoilsport in the clash against Jos Buttler and Co. in their opening warm-up game. According to current reports, there is no rainfall in the city, but the MET department suggests that the rain may halt the play of India vs. the Netherlands.

Weather reports of the India vs. Netherlands ODI World Cup 2023 warm-up clash

The weather in Thiruvananthapuram is expected to be cloudy during the game between India and the Netherlands. However, the rain percent chances are just 13%, which can allow 100 overs during the match without much trouble during the play. In addition, the temperature will be around 30 degrees Celsius to 24 degrees Celsius, and the humidity will be around 80% to 90%.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma and Co.’s matches were mostly halted in the Asia Cup 2023 as well. However, if rain interrupts continuously during the ODI World Cup 2023, it will disrupt the momentum of the marquee event and lead to sharing equal points, which can be the hardest task during the playoffs.
