‘He is being built differently’ – Fans react as Yashasvi Jaiswal fires second successive double ton to join elite list in Rajkot Test

India’s star cricketer Yashasvi Jaiswal hammered the double century on Day 4 of the third Test match, which took place at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. Team India had posted 430 runs in the second innings before declaring their innings, which helped them get the lead of 556 runs on Day 4 of the third Test match. The southpaw has been receiving praise from all over the cricket fraternity as he hammered the double century twice in the ongoing Test series.

Meanwhile, the 22-year-old cricketer also hammered the double century in the first innings of the second Test match, which helped India level up the series by 1-1 in Vizag. Notably, the host team had to suffer defeat in the opening Test game despite India taking the massive lead in the first inning, but they failed to chase down 230 runs in the second inning.

Yashasvi Jaiswal is not looking behind and is totally focused on what lies ahead: Mohammed Siraj

However, star cricketer Mohammed Siraj heaps praise on Yashasvi Jaiswal after his magnificent double century that kept the side in great space. In addition, the 29-year-old cricketer reveals what message he has gotten from team management to hammer the top-class knock against strong visiting sides.

“The way he is batting, his confidence is very high. He is not looking behind and is totally focused on what lies ahead and he is carrying on with that confidence. However, the message from the team is that he should continue the way he has been doing. We only think of taking the game as forward as possible so that we (bowlers) should also recover because we are bowling long spells and fielding. Meanwhile, the more we are able to recover the fresher we will be for the second innings,” Mohammed Siraj said after India’s batting in second inning.
