‘Dulhan ki tarah sajaya hai’ – Fans react as Bangalore prepares their home ground M Chinnaswamy Stadium for upcoming Indian T20 League

The Indian T20 League 2023 is around the corner as it is set to kick off on March 31 after the completion of the Women’s T20 League. The opening match of the cash-rich league will be played between the Chennai franchise and the defending champions Gujarat at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium. The Bangalore Stadium is all set for the 16th edition of the Indian T20 League.

Faf du Plessis-led Bangalore franchise will their opening game against the most successful franchise of the league, the Mumbai side led by Men in Blue skipper Rohit Sharma on April 2 at M. Chinnaswammy Stadium. Their other home game will be on April 10 against the Lucknow franchise, April 15 against the Delhi franchise, April 17 against the Chennai franchise, April 23 against the Rajasthan franchise, April 26 against the Kolkata franchise and the last home game will be played against the defending champions, the Gujarat franchise on May 21.

On March 26 at 4 pm, the Bangalore franchise will host a curtain-raiser event at Chinnaswamy Stadium. Tickets for the event are available for purchase on RCB’s official website. The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and the first team practise of the season are only two of the events that make up the Bangalore franchise’s Unbox event.

There will be a variety of programs at the event. But the most significant one will be the introduction to the Hall of Fame list. Two former Bangalore franchise players, Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers, will be inducted into the Bangalore Franchise Hall of Fame as members of the class of 2023. For the two franchise veterans who have grown to be legends, it will be a proper crown. It is believed that Mr. 360 (De Villiers) and the universal boss (Gayle) will attend the event.

Also, it will be the start of their entire team’s practice for the upcoming Indian T20 League season. Only a few players have joined the team, and the club’s first full team practice as they prepare to win the title this time around. For the fans, there will also be a range of entertainment options. At the event, Jason Derulo, Sonu Nigam, Tulsi Kumar, and Aditi Singh Sharma will all perform. Bangalore-based rock band Thermal and a Quarter will perform at the event as well.
